Kayleigh Mullen, sporting her new SNVB jacket and proudly showing off her first plethodontid capture, a Dunn’s salamander (Plethodon dunni) on February 28th, 2015. Kayleigh was part of a group from Central Washington University that stopped along the old scenic highway in the Columbia River Gorge on their way home from the meeting in Portland to flip some rocks. In addition to P. dunni the group found Larch Mountain salamanders (P. larselli) and Western Red-backed salamanders (P. vehiculum). Photo by Steve Wagner.
