This flock of big horn sheep (Ovis canadensis) was headed home to the Yoho National Park just outside Radium Hotsprings, British Columbia on July 22nd, 2014. The next morning the same sheep gave my son and I a bigger jolt of energy than the 5am cup of coffee we were looking for as we rounded a blind corner in the town park.
